get to know ME!

Ok so I saw this on a couple of blogs a while back. It's a good way for my clients or future clients to get to know me a little bit! I never do the surveys on myspace/facebok because I feel like no one wants to know what I ate for lunch or when the last time I took out the trash was.... BUT I read on one blog that since they posted the get to know me questionnaire that their clients felt more comfortable.... so here goes.

If I had $300.00 to shop in any clothing store... I love Forever 21! We don't have them up here so once in a while I look at their website

What is the top two places you want to travel... ummm... that's tough! I want to go to Nashville really bad.... & probably Las Vegas. I love lights/music/fun atmosphere.

Favorite season... Spring!! The smell... everything is growing... awww I love it

What do you do when a baby or child just DOES NOT want their photo taken? Wait
it out. Usually they are just uncomfortable because the camera is there... people are looking at them constantly... and most times they are in a new place. I always play around with the kids... have them chase me or ask them questions about their parents. "Does your mom ever quack like a duck?" It breaks the ice for them. For babies... we feed them and put them to sleep. haha. Babies are just so darn cute sleeping!

What's your all-time favorite movie... Sweet Home Alabama! 2nd is Because I said so...

Favorite Props... I like when people bring their own. Things that mean something to the individual or family because they will bring out the best in that object.

Do you have kids.... Not yet! My husband and I want them soooooon. I'm 24 and he's 23 so we still have time. We have been together for a 7 1/2 years and we've been talking serious about it since be got married in '07.

How long have you been photographer... Since 2005! It's been a long road to get here so I feel like it's been way longer. The last year FLEW by I was so busy.... I'm hoping for another one of those.

Are you a morning person or a night owl.... A night owl! I have never ever been a morning person. I usually stay up half the night/early morning editing and making my albums. My family has always told me I better find a night job :)

If you couldn't be a photographer, what would be your dream job... The first year of college I was planning on being a graphic designer. The funny part is I kind of do both photography and graphic design. I have made lots of logo's and templates for other photographers to advertise their businesses (and my own.) I'm self taught just about everything I know. There wasn't a digital photography class when I was going to college so I stopped going and started a business. I didn't use a lot of thought when I did this BUT it got me to where I'm at now.

What your favorite part of a wedding... When the bride and groom gets some time alone. Those are the BEST pictures because they get to take a breathe away from everyone else and be together and show their true feelings for each other and about the day... love it.
